Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions in manufacturing machinery, control panels, and facility systems.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine PMs on electrical components and production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Blueprint Reading: Inspect, interpret, and work directly from electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA, National Electrical Code (NEC), and company safety regulations, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience working as an electrical maintenance mechanic specifically within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Technical Skills: Proven ability to accurately read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with industrial electrical systems (e.g., 120V, 240V, 480V, three-phase systems, relays, switches, and motors).
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in a manufacturing floor environment.
