If you already have foundational tool skills and want to master the trade, you will work directly under a Senior Maintenance Technician to learn industrial mechanics, electrical systems, and plant automation.
What You’ll Do (With a Mentor):
- Diagnose: Observe plant machinery to detect and troubleshoot issues.
- Repair: Dismantle, fix, and reassemble equipment and electrical wiring using hand tools, hoists, and jacks.
- Maintain: Prevent breakdowns by following blueprints, work orders, and OSHA safety guidelines.
- Improve: Collaborate with your Senior Tech to optimize plant efficiency.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2 years of industrial/manufacturing environment exposure (or a proven background regularly repairing mechanical systems).
- Solid problem-solving, teamwork, and multitasking skills.
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude; ability to read basic technical plans.

Job Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience: 3–5 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Technical Skills: Robust mechanical and electrical skills; ability to read work orders, blueprints, and specifications.
- Troubleshooting: Proven ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues.
- Physical & Practical Skills: Ability to dismantle and reassemble machinery using hand tools, jacks, cranes, or hoists.
- Safety & Compliance: Strict adherence to internal safety standards and OSHA guidelines.
- Complimentary Skills: Rproblem-solving, multi-tasking, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Operational Drive: Commitment to improving preventive maintenance procedures and supporting line operations to maximize uptime.
- Familiarity with machine design, engineering/technology principles, and practical mathematics (geometry/arithmetic).
