Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Load raw materials (wood, plastics, or light metals) onto CNC milling and routing equipment and run pre-programmed jobs for die board production.
- Basic Setups: Follow simple setup sheets to align materials, secure fixtures, and ensure the machine is ready for the production run.
- Tooling Changes: Monitor tool performance and safely change out cutting tools, router bits, or milling inserts when they become worn.
- Quality Checking: Perform visual and basic dimensional checks on finished die boards using standard tape measures, calipers, or templates to ensure holes and slots line up perfectly.
- Autonomous Problem Solving: Work independently during the afternoon shift to keep machines running efficiently, clearing chips and debris from the workspace.
- Shift Handover: Communicate clearly with the 1st shift team during turnaround to understand what jobs are running and ensure a smooth operational transition.
- Safety First: Maintain a clean work area and strictly follow all safety guidelines and proper PPE requirements.
