What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Setup & Maximize: Efficiently set up and operate our Fadal CNC Milling Centers and Okuma Genos L3000-e turning centers with a strong focus on safety and accuracy.
- Program & Optimize: Utilize Edgecam CAD/CAM software (or equivalent) to generate CNC programs, and confidently make on-the-fly program edits at the machine to maintain tight tolerances.
- Blueprint to Reality: Read and interpret complex blueprints, applying your strong working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Quality Control: Use precision measuring equipment to inspect your own work and ensure every part meets exact dimensions.
- Shop Leadership: Organize and manage work orders, plan daily tasks for yourself (and support team resources based on material availability), and keep your workspace clean and organized.
- The Experience: 5 to 7+ years of hands-on experience as a CNC Machinist (setup, operation, and programming).
- The Tech Skills: Computer literate with solid experience in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). Experience with MRP/ERP systems (Syteline is a major plus!).
- The Sharp Eye: Deep understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and precision inspection tools.
- The Mindset: A proactive problem-solver who can manage their time effectively, organize daily workflows, and maintain a safe, healthy work environment.

- Planning daily work tasks for themselves and others based on availability of materials and resources
- Must have working knowledge of geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T)
