Are you a proactive problem-solver with a "master of the craft" mindset when it comes to building and equipment care? Seeking a driven and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, supporting the daily inspection, repair, and preventative maintenance of our facility building, grounds, and specialized production equipment to maximize operational efficiency and safety.

salary: $17 - $18 per hour

work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

• Ability to perform strenuous physical activities including climbing ladders, extended walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pulling, and twisting.
  
  
• Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs unassisted as required for facility maintenance tasks.
  
  
• Excellent fine motor skills for intricate grasping, manipulating parts, and feeling, combined with the close visual acuity needed to perform detailed machinery inspections and repairs.
  
  
• Ability to work comfortably in varying environmental conditions, including exposure to high-noise manufacturing zones or fluctuating temperatures.
  
  
• Experience: Minimum of one year of verified experience in building maintenance, industrial facility upkeep, construction, plumbing, or industrial electrical work is strongly preferred.
  
  
• Technical Literacy: Proven ability to read and interpret standard measuring instruments, complex blueprints, manuals, and schematics.
  
  
• Tool Proficiency: Highly skilled in the safe operation of a wide variety of hand tools, power tools, electrical testing meters, and plumbing equipment.
  
  
• Soft Skills: strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels within a matrix corporate structure.
  
  
• Execution: Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, handle multiple maintenance tasks concurrently, and hit tight deadlines with a proactive approach.
