- Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Experience: None required! Ability to learn how to utilize hand tools and follow written plans is essential.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, reach, bend, squat, climb, and repeatedly lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Availability: Must be able to work any shift schedule, including required overtime, weekends, and holidays to meet production demands.
- Detail-Oriented: strong attention to detail to ensure every truck meets premium quality standards.
- Screening: Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a pre-employment background screening, physical, physical capabilities test, and drug screen.

Responsibilities
What You Will Do (Job Duties)
- As an Assembler, you will play a crucial role in assembling high-quality Volvo trucks. Using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment, you will:
- Position and fasten together truck subassemblies (including frames, axles, powertrains, cabs, electrical components, and hydraulic/air systems).
- Install mechanical and electrical components such as engines, transmissions, wire harnesses, pumps, and air-conditioning systems.
- Perform repetitive assembly tasks according to strict blueprints and standard operating procedures.
- Examine connections for correct fit and inspect parts to catch any defects or quality issues.
- Safely utilize overhead cranes and rigging techniques (training provided).
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace while documenting your production actions.
