Responsibilities
- Supervise and support Quality Technicians and Inspectors during assigned shifts.
- Ensure compliance with GMPs, HACCP, preventive controls, allergen management, sanitation programs, and food safety regulations.
- Monitor production processes to verify adherence to quality standards and product specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections, audits, and verification activities throughout the facility.
- Investigate quality issues, customer complaints, food safety concerns, and non-conforming products; implement corrective actions as needed.
- Review and maintain quality records, production documentation, and compliance reports.
- Partner with Production, Maintenance, Sanitation, and Operations teams to support efficient and compliant manufacturing processes.
- Assist with line startups, changeovers, product holds, and process validations.
- Train employees on quality, food safety, GMP, and sanitation requirements.
- Analyze quality data, identify trends, and recommend process improvements.
- Support internal, customer, and third-party audits while maintaining audit readiness.
- Track key performance indicators related to quality, compliance, defects, complaints, and corrective actions.
- Promote a culture of food safety, quality ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
