Responsibilities
1. PLC & Automation Support
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair automated machinery using PLC software (e.g., Allen-Bradley/Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Omron).
- Connect laptops to PLCs to read ladder logic, monitor I/O status, and identify root causes of machine faults.
- Perform minor program modifications, calibrate sensors, and configure Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and HMI screens.
- Backup and maintain PLC programs and documentation for all production equipment.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and replace pneumatic components including air compressors, cylinders, directional control valves, solenoids, manifolds, and FRL (Filter-Regulator-Lubricator) units.
- Interpret pneumatic schematics to trace airflow, identify pressure drops, and isolate system leaks.
- Maintain and optimize electro-pneumatic systems where electrical signals control fluid power movements.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems ranging from low-voltage DC control circuits up to 3-phase AC power distribution (480V).
- Test, repair, or replace faulty electrical components such as relays, contactors, circuit breakers, transformers, and motors.
- Utilize electrical test equipment, including digital multimeters, clamp meters, and megohmmeters, safely and accurately.
- Read and interpret complex electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematic drawings.
