Responsibilities
- Systems & Compliance: Maintain working knowledge of WCS/WMS platforms (Korber). Direct associates on label placement and packaging for compliance.
- Daily Operations: Lead production and VAS operations, including staffing, line setup, throughput monitoring, changeovers, and schedule attainment.
- Workflow Management: Plan and release work based on demand, inventory, material availability, and capacity; adjust priorities to meet deadlines.
- Resource Coordination: Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and workflow to minimize downtime, support goals, and maintain floor operations.
- Performance Metrics: Monitor productivity, quality, and throughput; identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and implement process improvements.
- Inventory Control: Ensure materials and inventory are available, rotated, accurately controlled, and stored to support production needs.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee product assembly, inspection, and quality checks; resolve product, order, and inventory issues quickly.
- Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop associates; partner with HR on staffing, feedback, corrective actions, and temporary labor planning.
- Communication: Conduct management meetings to review production flow, work assignments, operational issues, and departmental updates.
- Strategy & Safety: Support contingency planning and collaborate cross-functionally. Ensure compliance with warehouse policies and safety standards.
