About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and safety-minded Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all production and facility equipment. Your primary goal will be ensuring maximum uptime and operational efficiency. This role requires strong expertise in industrial electrical systems, PLC logic, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
What You’ll Do (Duties & Responsibilities):
- Safety First! Adhere strictly to all company and OSHA safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) on all facility and production machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize production downtime.
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new facility equipment.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, keeping highly accurate maintenance and repair records.
- Communicate effectively with production and engineering teams regarding equipment status and repair needs.
- Education/Experience: Completion of a trade school program emphasizing industrial electricity and PLC logic (with a certificate) OR a minimum of 4 years of solid industrial maintenance experience.
- Proven track record in troubleshooting and repairing automated production equipment.
- strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including high voltage exceeding 480V.
- Direct experience with PLC logic and controls (e.g., Omron, Idec, Beckhoff, Allen-Bradley).
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Safety-oriented, self-motivated, and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Must be comfortable standing, bending, climbing, crawling, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. in varying manufacturing environments and temperatures.
- Occasional overtime or on-call availability may be required. No regular travel to other locations.
