What You’ll Do:
- Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose and fix complex electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and PLC (programmable controller) issues on the fly.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform, track, and optimize scheduled PM activities, including routine fluid and oil changes.
- Support the Team: Collaborate with Process Engineers on system improvements and assist Supervisors in training machine operators on proper equipment use.
- Inventory & Upkeep: Manage replacement part inventory for your assigned cell and maintain pristine workspace housekeeping.
- Safety First: Strictly adhere to OSHA guidelines, read prints/schematics accurately, and participate in team problem-solving (8Ds, meetings).
- The Experience: 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment. This is a non-negotioable requirement.
- The Technical Skillset: Proficient in PLC troubleshooting, hydraulics, electrical and mechanical systems, and operating various machining equipment. Must be fluent in electro-mechanics.
- The Communication: Ability to read/comprehend blueprints and schematics, write simple correspondence, and clearly present information to small groups.
- The Physical Capability: Must be comfortable standing, kneeling, climbing, working in tight or elevated spaces, and regularly lifting up to 35 lbs near moving mechanical parts.
- Highly competitive industry pay ($38.50/hr is average, can be higher or lower depending on your skillset).

Responsibilities
- Maintain production equipment in optimal operating condition.
- Perform and track preventative maintenance activities.
- Assist assigned cell/area in troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
- Assist cell/area Supervisor in training associates in the proper use of equipment.
- Assure proper inventory levels of required replacement parts for cell/area equipment.
- Change oil on equipment as recommended by manufacturer.
- Follow all prescribed internal and manufacturer maintenance procedures.
- Assist the Process/Industrial Engineer in implementing process improvement changes.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping in work area.
- Participate in team problem solving activities (e.g., 8Ds, communication meetings, etc.).
- Responsible for following all internal and OSHA required safety procedures.
- Adherence to all company policies and procedures (e.g., Quality Manual, Associate Handbook, etc.).
