Responsibilities
• Oversee second-shift production across two manufacturing plants, ensuring schedules meet customer demand and company targets.
• Monitor productivity, throughput, and operational KPIs, implementing corrective actions.
• Supervise, coach, and develop production department leads and hourly team members across both sites.
• Manage staffing levels and labor utilization to optimize plant efficiency.
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety standards, including HACCP, GMPs, FDA, USDA, and local regulations.
• Lead and support regulatory audits, inspections, and the implementation of corrective actions.
• Partner with Quality teams to maintain product consistency, address issues, and execute root-cause analysis.
• Verify that all production documentation and quality checks are completed accurately.
• Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives focused on waste reduction and process optimization.
• Analyze production data to identify operational trends and efficiency opportunities.
• Enforce safety policies, conducting regular audits, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and HR teams to support overall production goals.
• Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime and operational disruptions.
• Communicate effectively with senior leadership regarding shift performance, challenges, and opportunities
