Responsibilities
- Vendor Management: Contacts and schedules external vendors and contractors for necessary repairs and emergencies that fall outside the scope of routine maintenance.
- Team Collaboration: Consults with the warehouse management team regarding maintenance needs, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
- Information Exchange: Cooperates and interacts effectively through ongoing communication with relevant personnel regarding maintenance matters.
- Operational Input: Provides input to the warehouse management team regarding changes to improve overall operations.
- Scheduling: Utilizes an effective personal organization method to maintain a schedule of when maintenance was performed and when the next service is due.
- Cleaning & Sanitation: Performs general cleaning duties to achieve warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements.
- Reporting: Notifies management regarding product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
- Ergonomics: Follows the company's ergonomic program according to established procedures.
- Policy & Confidentiality: Maintains the confidentiality and privacy of company-sensitive data and performs all assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and within company policy.
