Your day-to-day responsibilities will include executing cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and handling critical SAP transactions like stock transfers, adjustments, and blocking/unblocking product. You will also monitor aged items on the in-transit report, resolve discrepancies between SAP and WMS, and build data reports to support leadership decisions. Furthermore, you will actively identify workflow gaps and champion continuous improvement initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to drive key deliverables like inventory accuracy and reduced discrepancies.
To qualify for this role, you will need a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience), paired with 2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain analytics. knowledge of inventory systems, specifically SAP, is highly preferred, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis using pivot tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP. Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau is a plus. Responsibilities
Inventory Accuracy & Control
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records across warehouse locations and SAP.
- Support cycle count programs and physical inventory processes.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and perform root cause analysis.
- Ensure compliance with inventory control policies and audit requirements.
- Complete necessary SAP transactions (e.g. adjustments, stock transfers, blocking/unblocking product).
- Assist in clearing discrepancies between SAP and WMS.
- Assist in monitoring and clearing aged items on the in-transit report.
- Assist in preparing recurring and ad-hoc reports for leadership to support data-driven decisions.
- Raise awareness where gaps in inventory processes are identified and assist in implementing corrective actions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean / Six Sigma).
- Partner with warehouse operations, finance, and supply planning teams.
