Responsibilities
- Frame & Component Assembly: Utilize basic hand tools, pneumatic nail/screw guns, and clamps to assemble vinyl, aluminum, or wood window frames according to specific custom orders.
- Material Preparation: Measure, cut, and drill raw vinyl extrusions, glass panels, and metal components using tape measures, chop saws, and routing machinery.
- Hardware & Glass Integration: Carefully drop insulated glass units into assembled frames, apply structural sealants/silicone weatherproofing, and attach vital hardware components (locks, latches, balances, and rollers).
- Quality Inspections: Visually inspect finished windows for scratches, gaps, or glass defects, ensuring everything matches production blueprints and meets strict quality metrics before shipping.
- Material Handling & Staging: Safely load, unload, and transport raw materials or finished products across the shop floor using manual pallet jacks.
