A growing food manufacturer is seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead food safety and quality assurance activities in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for ensuring all products meet regulatory requirements, customer specifications, and internal quality standards while maintaining GMP, HACCP, and food safety compliance. The Quality Supervisor oversees in-process and finished product inspections, monitors quality metrics, reviews batch records, and ensures proper documentation and traceability. This role leads and develops Quality Technicians, provides coaching and training, and ensures adequate shift coverage across production lines. The supervisor partners closely with Production, Maintenance, Sanitation, and Warehouse teams to support line startups, changeovers, troubleshooting, and corrective actions. Key responsibilities include investigating quality deviations, managing non-conforming materials, supporting audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects, improving yield, and enhancing process consistency. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of food manufacturing quality experience, leadership experience preferred, and knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, FSMA, and food safety systems. Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with FDA, FSMA, GMP, HACCP, and internal food safety and quality standards
• Conduct in-process and finished product inspections across multiple production lines
• Verify product specifications including weight, appearance, texture, packaging, labeling, and coding accuracy
• Monitor CCPs, preventive controls, allergen programs, and sanitation verification activities
• Review batch records, inspection reports, and release documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Lead investigations into quality deviations, non-conforming materials, and customer complaints
• Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and verify effectiveness
• Oversee foreign material control programs including metal detection/X-ray systems
• Supervise, coach, and develop Quality Technicians and Inspectors on shift
• Provide training on GMPs, HACCP, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Ensure adequate quality staffing and coverage across production lines
• Partner with Production, Maintenance, Sanitation, and Warehouse teams on daily operations
• Support line startups, changeovers, and line clearance verification
• Assist with root cause analysis and troubleshooting of production quality issues
• Maintain accurate quality records, traceability documentation, and shift reports
• Track key quality KPIs including defects, yield, holds, complaints, and audit results
