Responsibilities
- Mechanical Equipment Installation: Safely mount and secure specialized emergency equipment, including light bars, push bumpers, partitions/cages, consoles, auxiliary batteries, component trays, and power supplies.
- Electrical Upfitting: Route complex wire harnesses cleanly throughout vehicle interiors, install electronic controllers, and wire up advanced multi-component electrical systems.
- Blueprint & Schematic Reading: Interpret and follow complex technical drawings and electrical schematics to ensure precise system integration.
- Quality Control: Perform thorough self-inspections on workmanship, maintain accurate build records, and ensure all wiring meets safety and functional standards.
- Production Schedule: Work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment to meet production deadlines.
