- Set up, program, and operate EDM equipment (Sinker and/or Wire EDM) to produce high-precision molds and tooling components.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on molds and tooling.
- Interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and CAD models to ensure exact specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to inspect finished parts and maintain exceptionally tight tolerances.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Experience: Proven experience as an EDM Operator or Machinist, ideally within a high-precision manufacturing, tool & die, or mold-making environment.
- Technical Skills: strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T symbols.
- Precision: High attention to detail with a track record of working to tight tolerances.
