Key Responsibilities
- Assist & Maintain: Support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial electrical systems and equipment.
- System Automation: Support SCADA system installations, panel wiring, and PLC equipment connections.
- Technical Tasks: Perform electrical disconnects, system upgrades, and low-voltage electrical projects.
- Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with senior technicians and engineers to complete field projects safely and efficiently.
- Experience: Prior Apprentice Electrician experience or electrical trade school training.
- Technical Knowledge: A solid, basic understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting.
- Schematics: Ability to accurately read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Clearance & Logistics: Clean background suitable for obtaining/maintaining a security clearance , and the ability to travel locally to field environments.
- Attributes: mechanical aptitude , great communication skills , and a willingness to learn.
- Current Apprentice Electrician registration.
- Exposure to or familiarity with industrial controls, PLCs, control panels, or SCADA systems.
- Experience with low-voltage systems.
- U.S. Citizenship strongly preferred.
