Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Safely operate a CDL Class B commercial vehicle in accordance with all local, state, and federal DOT regulations.
- Touch Freight Delivery: Load, unload, and move product from the truck into customer locations using a hand truck, pallet jack, or by hand.
- Customer Service: Act as the face of the company at delivery points, providing polite, professional, and timely service.
- Pre/Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment safety and report any maintenance needs.
- Accuracy & Documentation: Verify delivery manifests, obtain customer signatures, and manage delivery paperwork accurately.
- License: Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B.
- Experience: Minimum of [Insert number, e.g., 1–2 years] of commercial driving experience preferred, but safe drivers with less experience are encouraged to apply.
- Clean Driving Record: A clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) with no major recent violations.
