Randstad is proud to partner with a premiere global pharmaceutical manufacturer in Central Islip, NY, to recruit a skilled Maintenance Mechanic (Facilities Infrastructure). This critical engineering role supports the operational upkeep, reliability, and functionality of state-of-the-art facility infrastructure, cleanroom environments, and utility systems in strict accordance with pharmaceutical cGMP standards.

salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and mechanical repairs on specialized facility utility infrastructure, including HVAC, Boilers, industrial plumbing, lighting arrays, compressed air, and purified water systems.
  
  
• Conduct facility-wide safety and compliance inspections to proactively isolate and report concerns regarding plant cleanliness, equipment efficiency, or structural safety parameters.
  
  
• Maintain highly accurate, detailed compliance logs and maintenance validation documentation tracking all work performed in regulated zones.
  
  
• Support emergency maintenance demands and show flexibility to assist with extended scheduling windows (such as holidays or weekends) to uphold continuous, uninterrupted plant operations.
