Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment and facility systems to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system issues using appropriate testing equipment.
- Repair, replace, or adjust components to restore equipment to proper operating condition.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and perform effective troubleshooting to minimize production interruptions.
- Analyze recurring equipment issues and recommend long-term corrective actions to improve system performance.
- Interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to support maintenance activities.
- Install, modify, or assist with commissioning new equipment and facility improvements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and repair documentation using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Coordinate with operations and other departments to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption.
