We are looking for a skilled, safety-first Forklift Operator to own our second-shift warehouse rhythm. Forget just moving boxes—you will be the backbone of our evening logistics, ensuring the right materials get to the right place at exactly the right time. What You'll Do
- Pre-shift inspections: Perform daily safety checks on brakes, hydraulics, and fluid levels before operation.
- Safe operation: Drive within facility speed limits, wear required PPE, and strictly follow OSHA guidelines.
- Loading & unloading: Move cargo, raw materials, and pallets between delivery trucks and staging areas.
- Stacking & staging: Secure, balance, and safely elevate inventory into high-tier storage racks.
- Inventory tracking: Scan barcodes, update logs, and track materials using the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Area maintenance: Keep driving aisles clear of debris and report any equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Certified & Experienced: You hold a valid forklift certification and have a proven track record of safe operation.
- Detail-Oriented: You take pride in neat stacking and accurate inventory tracking.
- A Night Owl: You prefer the schedule flexibility and steady workflow that comes with a dedicated second shift.
- Safety-Minded: You don't take shortcuts when it comes to your safety or the safety of your teammates.
salary: $50,000 - $55,000 per year
