We are looking for a skilled Laser Operator to take the reins of our high-powered 6kW Gorilla Bescutter Fiber Laser. If you are a CNC or laser professional who knows how to optimize a nested program and keep a production line moving safely and efficiently, this is your chance to work with top-tier fabrication tech.

Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Safely set up, calibrate, and operate the 6kW Gorilla Bescutter fiber laser system.
- Program Management: Load, navigate, and manipulate CNC part programs and nested layouts; adjust machine cutting parameters (speed, gas pressure, focal point) to optimize cut quality based on material thickness and type.
- Material Handling: Safely load raw sheet material onto the shuttle table and unload finished parts/skeleton sheets using appropriate lifting equipment or manual techniques.
- Quality Control: Perform first-article and in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, or gauges to ensure parts meet tight blueprint tolerances and design specifications.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform daily preventative maintenance (cleaning optics, checking nozzle condition, monitoring gas levels) and troubleshoot minor machine errors or cut quality issues (dross, edge roughness).
