Responsibilities

• Safely load raw materials, run production cycles, and unload finished parts on CNC mills and lathes according to established parameters.
  
  
• Assist senior machinists with or perform basic machine setups, including changing out production fixtures and tooling under direct supervision.
  
  
• Measure and inspect finished components using precision tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.) to ensure complete accuracy against blueprint specifications.
  
  
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on machinery and keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
  
  
• Monitor machine performance closely and immediately report malfunctions or out-of-tolerance parts to senior staff.
