Responsibilities
- Perform regular preventive maintenance and quick repairs on building systems like HVAC, plumbing, and lighting to keep the plant running smoothly.
- Troubleshoot and fix general facility equipment including air compressors, dock doors, and basic conveyor systems.
- Conduct routine inspections of the physical building to repair drywall, flooring, doors, and other structural elements.
- Adhere strictly to safety standards like Lockout/Tagout and handle emergency repairs to keep the production floor hazard-free.
- Monitor and maintain critical safety equipment including fire extinguishers, eyewash stations, and emergency exit paths.
- Manage facility waste disposal and maintain the outdoor grounds to ensure compliance with local environmental regulations.
- Log all completed work orders in the maintenance database and coordinate with outside contractors for specialized repairs.
