Are you an experienced CNC Machinist who thrives on precision, complex setups, and working autonomously? We are looking for a CNC Machinist with 5+ years of experience to run, set up, and optimize our machining operations.

You’ll be working heavily with HAAS mills and Hyundai lathes (including live tooling), turning raw materials—primarily Aluminum, Stainless Steel, and occasionally Plastic or Brass—into high-precision components. If you're self-driven, sharp with setups, and enjoy passing on your knowledge to up-and-coming operators, this shop is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Setups & Operations: Independently perform complex machine setups on 3- & 4-axis HAAS mills and Hyundai lathes for production operators.
  
  
• Live Tooling: Program, set up, and run live-tooling lathes to perform multi-process machining in single setups.
  
  
• Material Mastery: Machine tight-tolerance parts out of Aluminum, Stainless Steel, and various Plastics.
  
  
• Problem Solving & G-Code: Read blueprints, adjust offsets, and edit G-code at the controller to optimize run times and fix production issues.
  
  
• Mentorship: Serve as a shop-floor resource—training and mentoring junior CNC operators with minimal supervision needed.
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC Mills and Lathes in a job shop environment.
  
  
• Equipment Knowledge: Proficiency with HAAS machinery and Hyundai lathes (live tooling experience preferred).
  
  
• Skills: Expert knowledge of 3- and 4-axis machining, blueprint reading, GD&T, and editing G-code.
  
  
• Mindset: Self-starter requiring minimal hand-holding, with a team-first attitude and willingness to mentor.
