Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, fast-learning Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team in Pooler, GA. This role is perfect for a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings a strong sense of urgency to their daily work.
As a Shipping Clerk, you will be the backbone of our outbound logistics, ensuring that inventory moves accurately, data is entered flawlessly, and communication flows smoothly across teams. Qualifications & Skills
- Tech-Savvy: Solid, hands-on understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (data entry, basic formulas, sorting) and Teams for daily communication.
- Detail-Oriented: A sharp eye for accuracy; you notice the small errors that others might miss.
- Fast Learner: Ability to quickly grasp new processes, software, and warehouse workflows.
- Sense of Urgency: A self-starter who understands deadlines and can work efficiently under pressure without sacrificing quality.
- Analytical Mindset: strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet when logistics challenges arise.
- Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in a shipping, logistics, or clerical warehouse role is a plus but not required if you possess the right technical and organizational skills.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods in an office or warehouse environment.
- Comfortable lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally as needed to verify shipments.

Responsibilities
- Data & Documentation: Prepare, verify, and maintain accurate shipping documentation, invoices, and manifests.
- Inventory Tracking: Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage spreadsheets, track shipments, and update inventory records accurately.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate daily shipping schedules and updates with internal departments using Microsoft Teams and Outlook.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve shipping discrepancies, delays, or inventory mismatches to keep operations running smoothly.
- Quality Control: Inspect outgoing shipments to ensure they meet quality standards and match order specifications perfectly.
