Maintenance Mechanic (Fleet & Equipment) Location: Merrimack, NH

Pay Rate: $28.00 – $35.00+ per hour (commensurate with experience)
Schedule: Year-Round Work
Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Merrimack, NH. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles, powered equipment, and landscaping tools. If you enjoy hands-on troubleshooting, working on a wide variety of engines, and taking pride in keeping operations running smoothly year-round, this is the opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on gas and diesel trucks and fleet vehicles.
- Troubleshoot, service, and repair small engines, including 2-stroke and 4-stroke motors and Hydraulic repairs
- Maintain and repair commercial landscaping equipment, mowers, and other powered tools.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic system issues.
- Keep detailed records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
- background in mechanical repair and equipment maintenance.
- Proven experience working with both 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines (gas and diesel).
- Experience repairing commercial mowers and small engine equipment preferred.
- Solid understanding of basic electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and troubleshoot efficiently.
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
- Competitive Pay: $28– $35+/hour
