Responsibilities
- Set up, configure, and operate CNC mills and lathes based on daily production requirements.
- Load programs, adjust tool offsets, perform machine changeovers, and set guides/stops for repeatable accuracy.
- Make minor program edits (G-code/M-code) and save accurate revisions as needed.
- Monitor live machine runs to spot defects, dimensional shifts, or equipment issues early.
- Read and interpret blueprints, job specs, and engineering drawings to guide production.
- Perform in-process and final inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and precision measuring tools.
- Deburr, deflash, and clean finished parts using powered hand tools.
- Perform routine machine PMs, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor component replacements.
- Safely operate overhead hoists and cranes to transfer heavy materials and finished goods.
- Support light assembly tasks when needed (spot welding, riveting, packaging, and labeling).
- Keep a clean, organized work area and strictly adhere to company safety protocols.
