What You’ll Do:
- Lead from the Front: Work side-by-side with the Warehouse Manager to direct daily floor flow, coach team members, and build a positive, productive work culture.
- Operate Specialized Equipment: Safely operate sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers (order pickers), and clamp trucks to handle materials and keep inventory moving.
- Drive Operational Excellence: Oversee shipping, receiving, staging, and order fulfillment while ensuring strict safety and inventory accuracy.
- Problem Solve: Use practical common sense and quick decision-making to resolve daily logistics bottlenecks and keep operations running smoothly.
- Proven experience in a fast-paced warehouse or 3PL environment.
- Hands-on proficiency and prior/active certification on sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, and clamp attachments.
- A true "lead by example" mindset—someone who gets along great with a team and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Reliability and willingness to work overtime during our 4–6 week annual peak season.

Job Responsibility Summary
As the Warehouse Supervisor (#2 to the Warehouse Manager), you will oversee daily floor operations within a fast-paced 3PL facility, ensuring seamless inventory movement, high safety standards, and peak operational performance. This hands-on leadership role bridges management strategy with floor execution, offering a direct pathway to a Manager position.
Core Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership & Team Management: Partner directly with the Warehouse Manager to direct workflow, assign daily tasks, and maintain productivity. Lead by example on the floor, fostering team collaboration, open communication, and high morale.
- Hands-On Material Handling & Equipment Operation: Actively operate and safely drive specialized heavy equipment—including sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, and clamp trucks—to handle inbound/outbound freight, staging, and order fulfillment.
- Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Control: Oversee accurate receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping processes. Resolve daily logistics bottlenecks using practical problem-solving and strict attention to detail.
- Safety & Facility Maintenance: Enforce safety protocols, equipment check-lists, and OSHA compliance. Maintain clean, organized dock areas and warehouse aisles.
- Peak Season & Schedule Execution: Work a standard schedule (M–F, 7 AM–4 PM) and commit to extended overtime hours during the 4–6 week annual peak season to meet client SLAs.
