1st shift - industrial maintenance technician.

To be the "ideal candidate" for this role, you will be a person who pays attention to the little details, enjoys repairing industrial machinery and being hands-on.

salary: $45,760 - $60,320 per year

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical (up to 480V 3-phase), hydraulic, pneumatic, and motor control system failures on production machinery (e.g., CNC machines, finishing equipment, PLC control systems, manual machine tools, assembly equipment, presses, compressors).  Age of production machinery spans from brand new to decades old.
• Preventative Maintenance: Execute and help optimize our scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) program to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Facilities & Fabrication: Perform general facility maintenance, including basic plumbing, lighting, and HVAC troubleshooting.  Conduct light welding/fabrication (MIG/TIG) to repair or modify brackets, guards, and fixtures.
• Vendor Management: Work with external machine and equipment vendors as necessary to troubleshoot issues and identify replacement parts.  Work closely with 3rd party service technicians to facilitate and support service work performed by 3rd party vendors.
• Inventory & Parts Management: Monitor spare parts inventory, identify critical spares, and coordinate with vendors to order replacement parts while staying mindful of a small-business budget.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all machinery and repairs comply with OSHA safety standards. Strictly follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and PPE protocols.  Promote safety standards in all activities and work performed.
