Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in PLC programming and electrical systems design.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Programming Expertise: Proficiency with ladder logic, function block, and structured text programming.
- PLC & HMI Systems: Practical experience designing and troubleshooting PLC-based control systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar) as well as developing HMI/SCADA interfaces.
- Software Development: Capability to write, test, and deploy embedded or application-level software, including integrating software modules via RESTful and SOAP APIs.
- Industrial Communication: Experience with industrial protocols such as EtherNet/IP, Modbus, and Profibus.
- CAD & Electrical Design: Proficiency in reading and creating electrical schematics and wiring diagrams using tools such as AutoCAD Electrical.
- Standards & Compliance: Knowledge of control systems theory, instrumentation, power distribution, and standards such as UL and NEC.
- Environment: Office and warehouse environment.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.

- Control Systems Development: Design, develop, and troubleshoot PLC-based control systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar) and create intuitive HMI/SCADA interfaces.
- Software Integration: Write, test, and deploy application-level or embedded software, creating communication modules that interface with third-party systems via RESTful and/or SOAP APIs.
- Electrical Design & Schematics: Create and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams using CAD platforms like AutoCAD Electrical.
- Hardware & Panel Oversight: Oversee control panel design, wiring, and physical installation, integrating sensors, motors, drives, and industrial hardware with control systems.
- Standards Compliance: Support electrical design processes while ensuring all installations comply with UL, NEC, and governing industry regulations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with mechanical, process, and software engineering disciplines to ensure complete system integration.
- Commissioning & Support: Commission automation systems at customer sites and deliver post-installation support as needed.
