Key Responsibilities
- Packing & Order Prep: Accurately pack, wrap, label, and stage orders for shipment following company procedures and quality standards.
- Computer & System Inputs: Use warehouse management software (WMS) or inventory management computer systems to print shipping labels, scan barcodes, update inventory statuses, and process outgoing packages.
- Heavy Lifting & Material Handling: Safely lift, move, stack, and carry materials and boxes weighing up to [e.g., 50–70 lbs] regularly throughout the shift.
- Portering & Facility Upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Sweep floors, empty trash/recycling, clear loading docks, and restock packing stations.
- Loading & Unloading: Assist with loading outgoing delivery trucks and unloading incoming freight, utilizing hand trucks, pallet jacks, or carts as needed.
salary: $18 - $20 per hour
