Responsibilities
- Take Temperatures: Use a probe thermometer to check the temperature of cooked food, raw ingredients, refrigerators, and freezers.
- Inspect Food & Packaging: Check product weights, seal quality, and make sure the food looks right before it gets shipped out.
- Keep Logs: Write down temperatures and checklist answers on daily paper or digital log sheets.
- Report Problems: Tell your supervisor right away if food temperatures are too hot or too cold.
- Follow Safety Rules: Wash hands, wear clean gear (hairnets/gloves), and keep equipment clean.
