Responsibilities
- Support manufacturing operations by delivering materials from the warehouse/stockroom according to production schedules and maintaining Kanban systems for consistent workflow.
- Fill customer and production orders from stock, package and over-pack products for shipment, and ensure all materials are handled safely and accurately.
- Perform cycle counts, maintain proper inventory levels, and work with Purchasing to obtain materials for production orders and stock.
- Receive incoming goods against purchase orders and packing lists, inspect condition and quantities, identify discrepancies, and deliver materials to the appropriate department or stockroom.
- Accurately enter and process inventory transactions in the Iwaki America business system while maintaining a high level of data accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain inventory using FIFO procedures, with special attention to shelf-life materials to ensure proper rotation and disposal when required.
- Process returned goods in accordance with safety and RMA procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom while remaining alert to potential quality issues during routine handling of parts and assemblies.
- Assist with process improvements, efficiency initiatives, and quality programs.
- Collaborate effectively with Quality, Accounting, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Customer Service teams.
- Perform additional duties as assigned and work overtime on an as-needed basis.
