Key Responsibilities
- Inbound & Outbound Handling: Safely unload, inspect, pack, crate, and load high-value aerospace hardware and raw materials.
- Traceability & Systems: Scan and log all inventory into our WMS (SAP/Oracle) to maintain 100% data and lot-number accuracy.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead hoists to move heavy or sensitive freight.
- Morning Staging: Conduct overnight cycle counts and prep material kits so first-shift production teams start without delay.
- Experience: 1+ years in shipping, receiving, or material handling (aerospace, defense, or high-tech manufacturing preferred).
- Equipment & Tech: Forklift certification (or ability to certify) and experience using barcode scanners and warehouse software.
- Physical & Security Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work standard night-shift hours.

Responsibilities
- Unloading Shipments: Safely unload incoming trucks, trailers, and shipping containers using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Inspecting Cargo: Check incoming packages and pallets for visible physical damage, leaks, or broken seals before signing delivery receipts.
- Verifying Documentation: Match physical inventory against packing slips, bills of lading (BOL), and purchase orders (POs) to verify quantities and part numbers.
- Order Picking & Packing: Gather products according to pick lists, stage them, and securely pack items using proper cushioning and boxing protocols.
- Labeling & Freight Prep: Generate and apply shipping labels, carrier tags, and hazardous material warnings; shrink-wrap and band pallets for transport.
