We are hiring a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our high-volume automotive metal stamping and assembly facility in Smyrna, TN. You will play a vital role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing heavy-duty mechanical presses, robotic automation, and advanced metal-forming production lines supplying major automotive OEMs.

Responsibilities
Core Duties & Responsibilities
Equipment Repair & Troubleshooting: Diagnose, analyze, and repair complex failures in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Systems Covered: Maintain and service stamping equipment/presses, automated welding robots, scrap conveyors, forklifts, and overhead cranes.
Electrical & PLC Work: Troubleshoot electrical systems ranging from low voltage (24VDC) up to 480V/600VAC (single and 3-phase power, motor controls, VFDs, and safety circuits). Edit, create, and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
Preventative Maintenance (PM): Perform routine inspections, instrument readings, function checks, and leak detections to identify early signs of wear and prevent unplanned downtime.
Utility & Facility Support: Assist with the upkeep of plant utility systems, including cooling water systems, compressed air/pneumatics, natural gas supply, fire protection, and HVAC systems.
Documentation & 5S: Analyze wiring diagrams, blueprints, and circuit schematics. Maintain detailed maintenance records and keep work areas compliant with 5S organization and cleanliness standards.
