Put your mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills to work building and testing advanced packaging machinery. We’re looking for a Final Assembly Technician to join our team in Randolph, MA.
You’ll assemble, test, troubleshoot, and fine-tune packaging machinery before it ships to customers, making sure every machine performs reliably with their products.
What You’ll Do:
- Assemble mechanical and electrical components and install tooling/change parts
- Run, test, troubleshoot, and debug packaging machinery
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, software, and PLC issues
- Read and interpret CAD drawings
- Work with Engineering to improve machine reliability and customer satisfaction
- Perform quality testing and Factory Acceptance Tests
- Support customer training and preventative maintenance instruction
- machinery experience and technical background
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- PLC experience preferred
- Experience with servos, drives, and pneumatics
- Precision motion experience is a plus
- Proficiency with hand tools
- Detail-oriented with communication and customer-service skills
- Up to $40/hour

Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities: ● Install Tooling and Change parts ● Run and debug packaging machines before shipment to the customer's plant ● Use Troubleshooting skills to resolve mechanical, electrical and software issues to make machinery function ● Assemble mechanical and electrical components on machinery ● Interpret CAD drawings ● Work with engineering to continuously improve product design for reliability, serviceability and customer satisfaction ● Participate in product design reviews and steer engineering thinking towards improving customer experience ● Perform quality control testing on machinery ● Make on the floor design changes/fixes as needed and keep engineering informed ● Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests with customers (virtually or in person) ● Review customer manuals and do customer training on machines as well as going over a preventative maintenance schedule
