Key Responsibilities
- Product Testing: Conduct functional, environmental, and stress tests—such as temperature, vibration, and submersion—to verify products meet engineering standards.
- Fault Diagnosis: Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues down to the component level to isolate and fix defects.
- Equipment & Tools: Operate oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and thermal chambers to inspect circuit behavior.
- Soldering & Repair: Perform precision hand-soldering (SMD and through-hole), wiring, and prototype board modifications.
- Technical Documentation: Read schematics and blueprints while recording test data, defect logs, and calibration results.
- Associate Degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience/certifications.
- Hands-on experience using diagnostic equipment (oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power supplies).
- Background in component-level troubleshooting and reading technical schematics.
- Proficiency in precision hand-soldering (SMD and through-hole components).
- High attention to detail and written documentation skills.
