Location: Newnan, GA (Southwest Atlanta area)
Schedule: Day Shift (Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Pay: $40.00 – $45.00 / hour
About the Role
Join an industry-leading manufacturer with a strong workplace culture as a Controls Technician. In this role, you will help design cells, integrate automated equipment, and build, program, and commission PLC panels to support efficient facility operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Automation & PLCs: Configure, program, and repair PLCs and robot controllers; build and troubleshoot PLC panels using ladder logic.
- Maintenance & Repair: Disassemble, repair, and reassemble machine controls, systems, and tools; conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
- System Troubleshooting: Diagnose electrical circuits, safety circuits, air logic controls, and hydraulic systems (check valves, accumulators, flow/directional controls).
- Production Support: Collaborate with engineers and production teams to maximize output, analyze equipment issues, and train operators on equipment setup and servicing.
Required:
- 6+ years of controls or industrial maintenance experience
- Demonstrated experience with PLC programming and ladder logic troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with panel building, electrical troubleshooting, and safety circuit integration
- Exposure to robotic systems
- Hydraulic and pneumatic system troubleshooting experience
- Base Pay: $40.00 – $45.00/hr
