Key Responsibilities Material Handling & Forklift Operation:
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up (reach truck) forklifts to move, stack, retrieve, and stage materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight trailers, containers, and flatbeds.
- Transport materials to designated rack locations, bin storage, or production staging areas.
- Perform daily pre-shift forklift equipment inspections and document any maintenance needs or safety hazards.
- Receive incoming shipments, verify physical counts against bills of lading/packing slips, and inspect for damage.
- Process inventory movements using RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Accurately pick, pack, wrap, and label customer orders following pick sheets or digital queues.
- Conduct routine inventory cycle counts and assist with physical stock audits.
- Generate, organize, and maintain shipping manifests, receiving logs, and inventory documentation.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere strictly to OSHA and company safety protocols.
- Certification: Active OSHA-compliant Forklift Certification (Sit-down and Stand-Up/Reach Truck) required.
