Responsibilities
- Operate CNC lathes, Swiss-style CNC machines, Hydromat rotary transfer machines, and other production equipment.
- Load and unload machines and monitor production cycles.
- Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment.
- Follow prints, work instructions, inspection procedures, and quality requirements.
- Make basic machine adjustments and offsets as needed to maintain part quality.
- Monitor tooling and notify the appropriate personnel when tooling needs to be changed or replaced.
- Identify and report machining, tooling, or quality issues.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Assist with machine setups and changeovers as skills develop.
- Work efficiently to meet production schedules and quality requirements.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
