Shift Schedules Available:
- 2nd Shift: 3:15 PM – 11:45 PM
- 3rd Shift: 11:15 PM – 7:30 AM
- Note: All candidates will train temporarily on 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) before permanently moving to their assigned 2nd or 3rd Shift schedule.
We are seeking dependable, production-minded Machine Operators to join a precision manufacturing facility in Clearwater, FL. These are operator-level positions focusing on running established production jobs, loading/unloading materials, monitoring machinery, and conducting in-process quality checks. Full machine setup, CAD/CAM, and CNC programming are not required.
Machinery Focus Areas:
- CNC Lathes: Multi-turret and turning centers.
- Swiss-Style CNC Lathes: Precision sliding-headstock equipment (Star, Citizen, Tsugami, etc.).
- Mechanical CAM-Drive Machines: Mechanical production equipment (mechanical aptitude required; not CNC or CAD/CAM software).
- Multi-Spindle Screw Machines: Mechanical multi-spindle equipment (Davenport, Acme-Gridley, etc.).
- Load raw materials/bar stock and safely unload finished metal components.
- Run established production jobs according to standard operating and safety procedures.
- Conduct regular in-process quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, and go/no-go gauges.
- Identify out-of-tolerance parts or visual defects and notify supervisors promptly.
- Maintain accurate daily production records and complete required paperwork.
- Maintain excellent attendance, punctuality, and compliance with production floor safety rules.
- Prior machine operation or machine tending experience in a manufacturing, machine shop, or production environment.
- Ability to read basic blueprints and comfortably use precision measuring tools (calipers and micrometers).
- Shift Commitment: Must be available to train on 1st Shift and fully committed to transitioning permanently to 2nd or 3rd Shift.
- strong attention to detail, continuous progress during training reviews, and a track record of reliable attendance.
- Must pass a standard background check and drug screen. Must adhere to a strict no-personal-phone policy on the production floor.
