Job Overview
We are seeking an immediate, dependable Material Handler to join our team in Syosset, NY, starting tonight. You will handle receiving, moving, and organizing materials to keep night-shift operations running safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload, move, and stage incoming/outgoing materials and inventory safely.
- Load/unload pallets, trucks, or containers manually or using material handling equipment (hand trucks, pallet jacks).
- Organize warehouse storage areas and maintain precise inventory records.
- Follow all workplace safety guidelines and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Immediate Availability: Must be ready to report to work tonight at 8:00 PM.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand/walk for a 12-hour shift and regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable Transportation: Must have dependable transit to and from our Syosset, NY location.
- Experience: Prior warehouse, material handling, or overnight shift experience preferred (not strictly required if reliable and hard-working).
- Mindset: work ethic, attention to detail, and a focus on safety.
