A leading, family-oriented manufacturer with 94 years of success—is seeking a self-driven, team-oriented Skilled Maintenance Technician for our state-of-the-art, 237,000 sq/ft climate-controlled facility.
What You'll Do:
- Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on high-speed conveyors, PLC-controlled machinery, robotics, packaging lines, industrial ovens, and processing equipment.
- Electrical and Mechanical Troubleshooting: Diagnose electrical faults, control circuits, sensors, and mechanical failures to quickly restore machinery to optimal working condition.
- System Optimization: Work closely with the operations team to monitor equipment performance, identify root causes of downtime, and implement long-term corrective actions.
- Adhere strictly to all facility safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), electrical safety standards (NFPA 70E), and OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

- Electrical & Mechanical Troubleshooting: Diagnose electrical faults, control circuits, sensors, and mechanical failures to quickly restore machinery to optimal working condition.
- System Optimization: Work closely with the operations team to monitor equipment performance, identify root causes of downtime, and implement long-term corrective actions.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to all facility safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), electrical safety standards (NFPA 70E), and OSHA guidelines.
- Shift Handover & Documentation: Complete detailed work orders and maintenance logs in the CMMS to ensure seamless communication with daytime maintenance teams.
- Electrical Expertise: Formal electrical education (degree, trade cert, or apprenticeship) OR equivalent hands-on electrical experience working with industrial power and control systems.
- Automated Environment Experience: Proven track record working in a highly automated facility (familiarity with conveyors, PLCs, robotics, packaging, ovens, or processing machinery is required).
