Responsibilities
- Production & Assembly: Build glass products from various manufacturing stages according to guidelines and customer specifications. Assist with active line job changes as needed.
- Equipment Operations & Maintenance: Operate pre- and post-production machinery. Keep equipment running smoothly by conducting preventative maintenance, performing minor repairs, troubleshooting line malfunctions, and escalating service calls.
- Safety & Workplace Standards: Maintain a safe environment for yourself and your team by strictly following rules, reporting hazards, and upholding 5S standards (cleanliness, general organization, and tool placement).
- Quality Assurance: Conduct periodic quality checks throughout the manufacturing process to spot defects, troubleshoot line concerns, and ensure all finished glass meets high quality standards.
- Material Handling: Safely operate both sit-down and stand-up forklifts to keep production lines stocked with necessary raw materials.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in or lead Kaizen events to help optimize workflows, increase safety, and eliminate waste across processes.
