Responsibilities

- Equipment & Facility Upkeep: Direct all maintenance and emergency repairs on food production machinery, packaging lines, and plant utilities to minimize downtime and preserve product quality.
- Team Leadership & Scheduling: Supervise, train, and schedule daily work orders for maintenance technicians, offering hands-on support and driving team accountability.
- Preventive Maintenance (PM): Execute and optimize PM programs focused on Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to catch issues before line failures occur.
- Food Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to SQF codes, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), FSMA, and plant sanitation requirements in close coordination with QA.
- Safety Protocol Enforcement: Maintain a safe work environment by actively managing LOTO, Confined Space Entry, Fall Protection, and Arc Flash/Electrical Safety guidelines.
- Budgeting & Parts Inventory: Control labor costs and maintain an efficient inventory of essential spare parts while working within the plant's approved maintenance budget.
