We are seeking a reliable, energetic Material Handler to join our growing warehouse and distribution team in Farmingdale, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for moving inventory throughout the facility, unloading incoming shipments, picking orders, and loading delivery trucks. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintain a clean, safe workspace.

salary: $17 - $17.99 per hour

work hours: 6 AM - 7 PM

Responsibilities

• Receiving & Unloading: Unload incoming freight, inspect deliveries for damage, and verify shipment quantities against packing slips.
  
  
• Inventory & Staging: Sort, label, and transfer materials to designated warehouse shelves, racks, or production areas using hand trucks or pallet jacks.
  
  
• Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and stage materials for outgoing customer orders using pick tickets and handheld scanners.
  
  
• Loading & Shipping: Prepare outgoing shipments, secure pallets, and load packages onto delivery trucks.
  
  
• Safety & Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards; strictly adhere to facility safety standards and heavy-lifting protocols.
