We are seeking an experienced Production Technician to support our molding and assembly operations. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, startup, and troubleshooting of automation, servo robots, and secondary equipment across both molding and assembly areas to ensure smooth, high-quality production. You will report directly to the Plant Manager and work closely with shift supervisors, process technicians, and maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Take-out Robots: Set up take-out robots using appropriate recipes and end-of-arm tooling (EOAT). Daily troubleshooting, repairing, and improving EOAT setups.
  
  
• Secondary & Assembly Setup: Set up and start up equipment used for assembly, hot stamping, hot glue dispensing, labeling, ultrasonic welding, and specialized cap assembly.
  
  
• Troubleshooting: Identify and rectify mechanical, pneumatic, and automation issues to optimize efficiency and maintain product quality.
  
  
• Technical & Maintenance Support: Provide hands-on assistance during startups and collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor on repairs.
  
  
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all automated systems and machinery strictly meet company safety standards.
  
  
• Special Projects: Assist the Plant Manager with targeted process improvement projects as needed.
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years setting up and troubleshooting servo robots within a molding plant environment.
  
  
• Technical Expertise: understanding/knowledge of servo robot controls, I/O comprehension, basic PLC knowledge, pneumatics, and electrical circuits.
  
  
• Molding Knowledge: Proficient in basic injection molding machine operations; familiarity with injection molding tooling is a plus.
